Sakic voted #1

The folks over at Puck Daddy decided to compile a list of "The 10 most significant goals of the last decade". Joe Sakic was voted #1 for his goal to seal the deal for Canada. Leading 4-2, Sakic scored with a little over a minute left in the third period for the his second goal of the night. The only video I could find that had that specific goal had terrible sound so I posted this video of the highlights for the whole game.

Sakic helped Canada win their first gold medal in 50 years. He was awarded tournament MVP which he can just add to his list of accomplishments over his incredible career. He is without a doubt one of the best players to have ever played the game, hall of fame material for sure
