So I was looking at the NHL stats last night on nhl.com and saw something that really caught me by surprise.
If you look at the best GAA, there's Andrew Raycroft. The Avs ex-goalie, who didn't have a good season last year and a terrible one before that, is actually playing .................... good. What's up with that?!?! Wonder if he'll crack like he did last year, he had a good start but wasn't playing good hockey at the end. It's only a question of time before Luongo comes back and obviously Raycroft will be warming up his seat on the bench again so I hope for him he makes the best of this situation.
Now, what I do like seeing is the picture below Raycroft, there's our own Craig Anderson with the most wins. I bet many people didn't expect the Avs to do that well this season but they are one of the best teams in the league right now and a lot of that has to do with Anderson's excellent goaltending.
